CIGAMRACSO started his musical career in 1989 as DJ for important clubs in Madrid. Nightclubs like OYE, ATTICA, CIRCUS and PACHA VILLABA, OKI as well as others. He also developed his career as a radio presenter on TOP 40 and Antenna 3. That decade (wonderful decade of the 80s) without doubt left an unforgettable impression on those who lived through dance music that was probably the most creative ever produced. During the 90s he continued both as a radio DJ and as resident DJ at clubs such as KASIM, the biggest super-nightclub on the Spanish Mediterranean. In 1992 he moved to Ohio (USA) where he immersed himself in the house and funky culture. Two years later, having returned to Spain, his professional development rocketed as he developed his own productions and worked at elite clubs particularly in IBIZA where he became a reference in house music. He has developed his own style defined as FRESH HOUSE... Powerful rythmic bases combined with musical samples from the 70s and 80s: electronic and Italy Dance - and this thanks to the mastery of systems like CDJ 2000,NX2 DJM V10, remix system RMX 1000 and others. His sessions are bursts of fresh air in revolutionary non-stop sets!

Jan McWilliams “DJ Jan The Man” is no stranger to the Jersey Shore, working in the beachside clubs since the early 80’s. Jan has packed the dancefloors of clubs from Long Branch to Seaside Heights. His residency at the Polo Club in the mid-80s to early 90s was unmatched by any other Friday and Saturday nights. With the line wrapped around the building, once inside Jan would create a club experience like no other. Playing everything from classic disco right up to the era’s hottest dance jams. For the last couple of years I've been fortunate enough to have DJ'ing as my full time job, doing +200 gigs a year. I adapt my mixing according to the genres and expectations from the crowd, but I always try to build an atmosphere that take my audience to some kind of euphoric happiness. Straight forward mixing doesn't leave much room for errors but when it's tight. it's beautiful. I like progress and I embrace new technology as long as knowledge and skill is what's behind the use of it. Here, I can listen to all your nice uploads and get inspired to learn new stuff. I play a lot of funk/soul/disco originals and only manual mixing does it as you have to ''feel'' the mixes to get 'em right. That's why I never use sync 'n' rarely the quantize function. All my mixes are made in one take. No editing. I prepare my music, not my mixes. What you hear, is what you can expect to hear when I play live. Unless something critical happens, I don't restart the recording. Some people don't agree with me in this, but for me to do it in another way, would be like cheating to my customers. So yes, there will be errors once in a while and that's how it is. There's no start overs in real live gigs, and that's what I practice for. You who take your time to listen to my mixes here, are just as important to me as the crowd in a venue, so I put the same focus in my mixes as I do on live gigs. Equipment Current Gear: Mixer: DJM-900Nxs2, DJM-2000, DJM-800, DJM-450, DJM-250 CD-player: 2 CDJ-2000Nxs2, 2 XDJ-700, All-In-One: XDJ-R1/Laptop/iPad Controller: DDJ-RB. Legacy Gear: This I sometimes use just for fun: 4 CDJ-500II, 3 CDJ-500S, 2 CDJ-200, 4 CDJ-1000Mk3, 1 CMX-3000, DJM-350, DJM-300, DJM-500, DJM-600 Headphones: HDJ-2000Mk2 & HDJ-X10K & some 19'' Mixers from when I started in the mid 80's. Missing: 2 Technics 1210's with Ortofon Stylus nightclub Most of my gear are also used in various DJ workshops, and I'm old enough to see the sentimental value of the gear I've been using over the years :) . Every piece bring back memory's of long gone clubs and people I've met and got to know.
